Hi! I'm Nili Auerbach
a Jerusalem-based photographer who believes passionately in creating fun photography experiences.
My journey into photography started back in high school, when I became completely captivated by the power of an image to express real emotion and tell a story. From experimenting with black and white in the darkroom to exploring color, light, and composition, I was hooked.
That passion only grew stronger, eventually leading me to pursue photography as my undergraduate degree and earn a BA in photography.
Over the Years
I’ve developed a style that is natural, vibrant, full of life and carefully crafted, with a strong focus on beautifully edited, high-quality imagery. My background in darkroom work and hands-on printing deeply shaped my eye, and it continues to influence the way I shoot and edit today—with careful attention to color, light, and detail.
As I began my career, I realized that I had another passion as well—teaching. I went on to earn a Master’s in Education, always knowing that my path would somehow combine creativity with connection. Today, whether I’m working with clients or leading workshops and camps, I bring both of those worlds into everything I do.
My ani ma’amin is that photography is about so much more than the final images. It’s about the experience—feeling comfortable, enjoying the moment, and walking away with memories, not just photos. With years of professional experience behind me, I guide sessions with a calm confidence while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and fun.
I’ve always been a people person (my mom still says my first word was “hi” to a stranger in the supermarket), and one of my greatest joys is getting to know each client and bringing a positive, easy energy to the experience.
I’m also a married mom of five wonderful kids, and a lot of the same energy I live with at home—connection, chaos, humor, and real-life moments, naturally flows into my work with families and children.
When clients tell me, “I just love your energy,” I know I’ve done my job—because that means they felt like themselves. And that’s when the best photos happen.
